Date on digital printed photos

Dose anyone know how I can get my digital photos to show the date on photos when I printed them. When I transfer photos from the Camcorder or from Cannon Power Shot A85 to my PC the date and time shows up on the PC, but the date does not show when I print them off the photos.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think it depends on your camera in the first place, I have a Sony cybershot W55 and it doesn't show the date on the images which is a bit of a pain allright.

The problem, I believe, is in the software you are using to print the pictures. The date information is stored with some other info in a format called EXIF as an addition to the picture. Your software needs to be able to extract this and put it in the picture.
