Date of inheritance

Hi
My mum is due a small inheritance from her sister.Her sister died in early 2010.
The estate due to my mum is due to be payed in the next couple of months.
From a Inheritance tax point are the rates, 2010 ie 41,481 euro tax free and the rest at 25%. or 2011 33,208 euro tax free and the rest at 25%.
I have looked at the revenue web site but cant see anything about the time of death.

Capital Acquisitions Tax on an inheritance is calculated by reference to the date of death. So her liability will be computed on the 2010 limits.
