DanskeBank Mortgage Online Access

For anyone with a Danske Bank mortgage you can now view the account online, Pepper have brought this in since Christmas. People might already know this however, I wasn't aware until I rang them today (to check why my mortgage payment hadn't been collected this week, its a system glitch on Danske's side apparently - just in case anyone else has the same issue!)

To get online access go to mypepper.ie and register using email, mortgage account number and date of birth. They send out a verification mail almost immediately and then you will have instant access. Now its just a view that shows your balance and not transactions as such, but its handy to know real-time balance. You can also make payments online which could come in handy.

Hi, I tried this and it could not find my account, is there any particular format for the account no.

Just signed up for this as well. Pretty straight forwards. I assume I gave Danske my email address before now, and it was verified with their records behind the scenes, i.e. it was linked to my account - otherwise how did it know I should have access to the account?

Just note that, while you can pay into your account on-line, from a debit card (they will not accept credit cards), it is topped at €1,500.

Hi folks,

Thank you for the information on this thread.

Just wondering, what can you do via the online access - check balance, see last 12 months transactactions, print statements, confirm loan rate and details etc ?

You can check balance, make payment or submit a SFS (standard financial statement), that's about it. No facility to view transactions, print statements or confirm your interest rate from what I can see.

Thank you for the reply.

Very disappointing that those basic functions are not available, begs the question as to whether or not it's even worth signing up for. Really poor planning, if they could not anticipate some of the basic requirements of the customer, especially given how long it has taken to introduce this online access.
