Hi All,

Just wondering if anybody can give me a bit of advice? I have a 2004 Peugeot 206 with only 60,000 miles on it. The timing belt went on Tuesday and I can't afford to repair the damage.

I was just wondering if there was any way I could sell the car in this condition and what would people reccommend? I haven't a clue about these types of things but don't feel like the car is only worth scrap.

Any advice appreciate.

Thanks a million.

If the timing belt is all that is wrong with it then you shouldn't have any problem selling it.

Work out roughly the cost of the repair and reduce your asking price by this amount, plus a bit more to allow for towing etc.

There is almost always a lot of damage done if the timing belt fails, have you an estimate of the repairs required ..?
