Dabs delivery: 'Damaged..no further action"?!

(apologies if in the wrong place)

I ordered a few things from Dabs.ie about 10 days ago and was told they would be delivered in "1-3 days". That's not a big deal, if they arrive in the next day or two I'll be happy enough.

But I checked the tracking on Parcelforce tonight and the last update says:

"NIF INBOUND SCAN DAMAGED NO FURTHER ACTION".

Damaged?! What does "no further action" mean exactly?

Will try to contact them tomorrow, but has anyone seen something similar on a tracking update?
 
Hi Cedric08,

From the message you got I would have assumed that they had a problem scanning the bar code/number on your package...

I guess if any packages like that get presented, their sorting system would probably move the package to an area of the sorting office for manual inspection.
