Theft protection (TP) is included in Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
If CDW not taken, customer may be asked to leave damage responsibility as a deposit.
Damage responsibility for all vehicles = Full value
Non Waiver Responsibility for all vehicles = EUR 300.00

Personal Accident Insurance:
For all car groups = EUR 5.00 plus 19% VAT per day.

Super CDW: (no excess) EUR 10.00 plus 19% VAT per day.

I am confused. The rate I was quoted says that CDW and theft protection is included. From the info above is there any excess involved. Seems awfully complicated to me.

Thanks

Check out the specific details for that country/rental..............usually you must take out CDW ( unless you sign to leave your cerdit card details)........with CDW you will be left with a payable excess if you bump into someone one / the sharks check you out ........... you'll be offered SCWD or some variation..........it ensures you'l have no excess(i.e. you simply hand the keys back!)

let the boards/moderators know how how you get on!

Check what Dr. Moriarty has to say on another link......it apears good value ( i think it's under LUTON HIRE )..... don' forget as far as I know with the standard car hire , neither you ( the driver ) nor the car ( up to the excess ) is covered.
Again, let the moderators / boards know what you do.

regards.
