Overheard someone saying that you can have your babies gums cut, with a little anesthetic and there is no pain from that day on when babies teeth start to show.
Have asked around and one person heard something but was not sure of the facts and where you can get it done. Sounds awful, but seemingly babies suffer no pain from it and no pain while cutting teeth.
Have 5 month granddaughter and would love to spare her, and her mother, the pain of teeth.

Oh my God!!! In my opinion anyone who does that to a child should be arrested. Let nature take its course. Give the child nurofen/calpol when teething and nice cold teething ring from fridge like parents have done for years. Anyone who believes that cutting a childs gums (even with mild anaesthetic) does not hurt is fooling themselves. What about the possibility of infection????
