I received a letter today saying "because of the continued unsatisfactory operation of your account, the bank, is no longer prepared to offer you banking facilities"
I have an O/D of €2000, I have 1 D/D and 1 S/O coming out every month.
They go onto say they want the full O/D amount within 2 weeks of the notice or else debt collectors will be called in.
All orders, direct debits will be cancelled and my bank card too
My question is can I still get a basic account (no O/D facility) with another bank or has this screwed my chances, and secondly how are my wages going to be paid to me with no current account available?
