I have been appointed Treasurer of our local Toastmasters Club. We need a Visa Debit Card to make member payments to USA. We have been using a PostFx Currency Card from An Post but it doesn't seem to work very well.
I enquired at AIB and they can set up a Club Account but advised me that there would be a €60 quarterly fee after first month (same as a business Account) which we couldn't afford. They did in fairness suggest that a Paypal Account might work out handier.
Has anyone else any experience of setting up an account for a club that needs to make online payments. Are there banks that don't charge such an exorbitant fee?
