Cross handling Border Fees

Folks I bought online 3 items from uk during xmas period. 2 From Amazon and 1 from Ebuyer. The 2 Electronic items, seem to have incurred a cross boarded handling fee on my credit card but the other didnt...Is this expected?


That is Cross Boarder handling fees by the way

Transactions originating from the UK will attract a cross boarder handling fee. It is possible that the merchant who didn't charge it, could have processed the transaction in Euro and hence no fee, or the merchant may process the transaction in a Euro denominated currency.

Ah interesting, so if the transaction was put through in punts...i attract the fee...Thank u for explaining. I thought they just look at country...and that be it...
