Crete, Heraklion on arrival

Have booked Crete for Saturday 24th and rather than book the budget accommodation advertised, I've booked Heraklion on arrival. Anyone have any experience of this. Booked with Budget travel, and got their brochure, and there is no accommodation listed for Heraklion.
Am a bit worried, any ideas.

You'll be in one of the resorts Hersonissos or the like.

Because we paid a bit more than the advertised locations on the web site, can we be sure that we will not be put in one of the cheaper accommodations. There is a name and phone number on my booking e-mail of a travel agents in Crete, should I try giving them a call or will there be anything to be gained there.

The main accommodation is in Hersonnisis, Stalis and Malia. Heraklion is the airport and I'm not sure what the accommodation there would be like.

You should check again online or with a travel agent.

I have sent them an e-mail, so awaiting their reply.... My friend has just gotten over cancer treatement, so we were hoping to avoid accommodation in the sticks....
Maybe I will give the agent in Crete (whose name appears on the e-ticket) a ring. It can't hurt, can it....
