I had an issue in a certain North County Dublin CU about 15 yrs ago, demanded a meeting with the manager who subsequently 'started crying' blaming other staff members and issued a prompt refund. Turned out it was fraud on a massive scale so don't let them fob you off. Make a written request for all the documentation in relation to your account, take it away and have someone help you review it as a first step.
