Credit Union best place to get a loan?

Hi there,

I am soon to start repaying a 6500 loan with the Bank of Ireland. Would I be better off just taking a loan out with the credit union and paying it off with that money? ... then repaying the credit union.

Does anyone know of any competitive interest rates with banks or is the credit union the way to go?
