Hi

Was looking advice on credit insurance. We are looking to get credit insurance for our order book, each individual order is approx 5000 - 15000 euro, with turnover of 800,000 -90% of customer are currently getting credit which is getting to be high risk. Our customers are 80% Irish, 20% UK

Can anyone advise on which company to go with or idea on percentage/ or cost.

Are you producing goods or re-selling them (manufacturer or distributor)?
 
There are 3 major Credit Insurance companies, Euler Hermes, Coface and Atradius. Cost depends on the profile of your customers, but should be less than 0.2% on average. Be warned, the Credit Insurance companies have become very conservative as a result of the Credit Crunch and have withdrawn cover for many customers, so it may not be worth it at the moment.
