Credit Europe Bank

I'm looking to open a long term fixed account for 1 year with this crowd...

The investment will be around €100k not more. I'm looking away from UK/Irish banks because of the mess that they are in.
This is my first time in investing a lump sum so I need advise from people that are familiar with banking services.

Are these crowd safe to invest with ?.

Just had a quick look and I would avoid them. Looks like their business model involves taking desposits in Western Countries and lending to SME's and counsumers in higher margin Countries outside the EU like Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. The rates don't look particulary attractive for the risk but they do seem to be covered under the Dutch deposit scheme up to €100,000. Don't think it is worth it though
