For what its worth I was tempted by the MBNA offer of free travel insurance as listed on the best buys...But couldn't find it in the site.
Another option might be the prepay credit card offered by mastercard but it all depends on how you want to use ot for http://www.payzonemoney.ie/. You top up the card like call credit. Theres a charge per transaction for it but it terms of stamp duty its deamed to eb a debit card and only attracts €5 (debit & ATM) stamp duty.
