I didn't see a specific post on this, but only checked a few pages. I'm just wondering who is currently the best lender in terms of switching your credit card on 0% transfers etc & the rate they apply after 6 months. I've seen the ad for halifax & this seems pretty good.
Anyone got any views on this?
Also, if you transfer do you get hit with the €40 charge now or is that assumed to be picked up by the new provider ?
If you have a look in the Best Buys forum you will find a thread on the best value balance transfers.
On closing you old account, you will be charged €40. You need a letter to say this has happened to give to your new card provider to ensure you are not charged twice.
