Hi,
A number of years ago I kicked a gambling problem and with the help of MABS I started paying off loans to banks. In Feb of this year I paid off the last of the bank loans. I applied for a credit rating. I had a Tesco visa card and owed 2.5k. Mabs sent letters to them saying I wanted to pay it off. We never got a reply back. When I got my credit history this 2.5k is on it. MABS had told me if they did not reply do not worry about it. Will this 2.5k stay on my history for ever? I have letters from MABS proving we did write to them 2 times. I might be starting a business of my own soon and prob will need every cent I have.
