Hi there,
I have gotten into debt of e5500 on my credit card over past 2 years I suppose (through travelling and mis management of money etc) and after looking through the Best Buys it seems that BOIS are offering interest free on balance transfers for 6 months.
My situation is that I am currently oveseas (and will be for another 2 years or so) and was just wondering whether or not it is possible to get the balance transferred to BOIS and avail of the 0% interest free even though I am not in the country? I calculated that if I did this it would save me approx e450 and will give me time to make a dent in the bill over the 6 months with a view to getting it paid off within the next year (fingers crossed).
My current CC is with BOI and I have since cut it up as it has been causing me too many problems and I don't feel that I am responsible enough to have one!!
I would really appreciate any advice you can offer!!
