In the past month I've had reason to purchase 2 Creative MP3 players, the Zen Micro 8gb and the Sleek Photo 20gb.

Both of them have been excellent purchases. Fairly intuitive to begin using and to download music to them.

Not sure about ear-phones. Just using the ones provided at the moment.

Would recommend Creative anyway - especially with extra benefit of having a radio on the two I purchased.
