Creating a website for an artist

Hi, I asked this question here some time ago but was unable to get back to the site until now. The website Im interested in setting up is for an artist. Have tried various ones - webs.com being the latest but lost everything I downloaded. Im looking for something reliable. Any help here appreciated.
 
You might be better off joining one of the established sites which allows artists to show their work. For example the Irish Arts Review

There might be other similar sites as well.
