I had a small judgement registered against me in the district court 3 years ago. I was not aware of the proceedings being taken or the judgement as I as out of the country at the time.
I paid the bill shortly after the date of judgement although I only became aware of the judgement and the related proceedings some months afterwards.
How do I get the judgement removed? The plaintiff acknowledges that the matter is settled and there is nothing due. they say that I must get satisifcation papers drawn up by my solicitor which they will sign and the judgement can then be removed. I have enough lost on this transaction so far and do not want to go to solicitors if I can avoid it. any advice on how to proceed here pl?
