Well the campaign amongst us Rossie folk, as indeed that's what it was, was led with a view to boosting our county in the general consciousness of people. Ideally then we would hope to reap some economic benefits.

it will only cause the makers of monopoly to lose credibility. The board game was based on realistic property valuations eg you would expect Shrewsbury rd to be more expensive than Crumlin etc. People who know a little of the geoghraphy , scenery and property prices in Ireland would expect ....
 
I see what you're saying about the credibility alright, but Hasbro chose to hand this over to a public vote. If the people with the dearest property prices didn't vote, then so be it. It's fair and democratic!
