Hi all -
Have a question on rough fit out costs for a showroom. Layout wise it will be like any sort of showroom you go into where they have a few display models and desks to meet and talk at. There will be no store-room, as no stock is carried. Products will be delivered direct to customers. So will in essence look / work like a mini car dealers garage does, with a few things on display and a place to sit and chat to a sales person or to wait until one is free.
We're looking at getting a lease in an industrial estate. Is a nice looking unit with big glass windows and quite a bit of passing trade. This place is a new build and has a toilet already fitted plus lighting, electricity and carpets. The main showroom (when you ignore the toilet) will be about 1,500 sq ft.
We're allowing the following costs - can you think of anything else we're not thinking of?
- Display Models (we know the cost of these, are sort of fixed)
Sales Area:
- Desks + Chairs (2 desks + 6 chairs)
- PCs etc (2 PCs + 1 printer)
- Phones (need PBX system + handsets etc)
Waiting Area
- Sofa
- Tea / Coffee Dock
Might sound like a dumb question, but trying to think of anything else we're forgetting that people will say - eh you can't have a showroom with XXX or something yknow?
Cheers
