Cost of using PIP

Apologies if this has been discussed - I did a search but couldn't find the cost involved of a PIP. I know this hasn't really been started in the country yet but I recall somewhere people mentioning €5k as a guide figure of paying someone to do all the negotiation, legal work etc? Is that correct?

Id say 5K might be adequate for an extremely straight forward case.

The obligations on the PIP are onerous and the work involved in rolling out the process is significant

Surely that isnt going to be affordable for folk and simply line the pockets of the legal system?
