Cost of Trading Up from Corolla to Avensis

Hi All
I would appreciate it if you could let me have your opinions on the cost of the following trading up:

Corolla 06 - Terra - 1.4 - petrol with 40000 kms
to an
Avensis 07 - Aura - 1.6 - petrol

I have been waiting for months now for a new Corolla but have now been told it will be August at least, so thats why Im now considering an Avensis (if the price is ok) but would like to have a rough idea of what it should cost before I approach the garage..

Any suggestions much appreciated.
