Hi Folks,
We bought an old 3 bed semi detached house a few years ago and we knew the day would come when we'd have to re wire.The fuse board is ancient and the wiring is messy. Things have finally come to a head and it needs to be done as soon as possible to avoid someone being electrocuted. We're broke and could really do without having to find the money to get it done but there is no way around it. I'm wondering if anyone can give me a rough idea of how much we'll need to borrow to get it done. Also I would really appreciate any tips any of you have with regard to getting the house prepared and facing the least amount of disruption as we have a small baby.
