cost of repairs to my car

hi,

can any one tell me how much it should realistically cost to get the following fixed:

1. clutch (put into gear and car revs a bit before engaging in gear - think it's clutch??)
2. a ripped CV boot

Also can someone recommend a reputable car mechanic in north dublin or dublin city?

farley simple car to work on so should relativley cheap to do both.

I would guess about 400 to 500 to do both.

I would be looking at the car to make sure nothing else is on the way before spending though I suppose you would need to get at least another 6 months motoring out of the car to make it worth while.
