Cost of receiving payment in USD to AIB Business Account?

Hi,

I'm trying to quantify exactly the costs of receiving an international payment in Euro.

AIB have a 6.35 euro charge for receiving a none euro payment but I can't find any details on the actual conversion charges... E.g. if the mid market rate is 1/1.32 USD then how much would AIB cost to convert that to Euro? Commission?

Any pointers appreciated.
 
How much they charge is basically asking how much their spread is on the exchange rate, and I seriously doubt they are going to give you that info. Best advice would be to ring them and any other bank you deal with, get an estimate for the current day's rate and try to work it out from there. If its over 5k I would be looking to book the fx with them so you know the rate rather than leaving it to end of day processing
