Perhaps this has been addressed before, but yesterday I got a prescription filled which cost €21.40 for 5 tablets, out of interest I emailed a pharmacy up North & the same tablets - all be it under a different brand name - would cost £19 for 10 including postage. How can pharmacies here justify that?
I'd also just like to ask has anyone said to their doctor to give them a generic brand? If I'm unfortunate enough to need more medication I plan to say that to him, as long as it works I'm not interested in the name.
