Cost of hand-painted kitchen

We have been given a quote for a newly fitted hand-painted mdf kitchen with a hand-carved over-mantel, cupboards and drawers (with soft-close mechanisms), larder to go beside fridge-freezer (with swing-out baskets), under-mounted sink and a half and kidney-shaped island (with storage and solid oak top) for 11,000. Granite worktop will be 2,400 extra. Is this a reasonable price? Unsure as have not had time to shop elsewhere yet (3 small kiddies at home!). This does not include appliances either.

Any advice much appreciated. I am in the Limerick area.

You haven't given enough details. The only way to judge a price is to compare prices. You need to go to In House or any other kitchen specialists. Otherwise you will be ripped off.
