Cost of footpath around house

Hi,

Can anyone give me an estimate of the cost of a footpath around a house. It will be about 130m to be done. i got a quote of 9000 euros which I think is extortionate.

What part of the country are you in ? My friend got his done recently, It was less than that for a big house. Is that 130 linear or sq metres?
 
Are you sure that its 130 linear meters? Thats a very big house.
My friend got his house done just outside of Trim in Co Meath. I can check who did his footpath. Is there anything else thats needed
 
Your footpath is 130 mtrs long you say , how deep is it going to be ? how wide is it going to be ? Is there a lot of stone to be imported to site to make up levels ? what type of finish did the guy pricing the job say he was going to give you? What type of concrete is he using? Ans all the above and we'll soon see if he's skanking you or not
 
Just wanted to let you know that I got a explanation for the high price. My father got the quotation from the contractor and he heard it wrong. It was suppose to be 900 euro labour.
