Cost of EPA and Will

My OH and I have decided to set up enduring powers of attorneys and also update our Wills. Can anyone give me an idea of what we should expect to pay in the Dublin area. I contacted 1 Solicitor and was quoted €1800 plus vat in total., ie €500 for wills and €1300 for EPAs.

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but if you and your OH are members of a Credit Union, check with them to see if they offer a subsidised Will Making Service. Some even offer that service free to members. My CU has an agreement with a local solicitor, and he provides a free Will Making service. It doesn't answer your question I know, but it could save you some money.
