cost effective way make a will

Hi all, I have never made a will before and I want to do so now, please can anyone tell me the most cost effective way to make a will? would it be to go to a solicitor or draw one up myself and take to solc.? thanks

Otherwise go to Solicitor and do it properly IMO.

Before you go to the solicitor, write down in plain English what you want to do with your money.

Then go to the solicitor.

You will not be charged much. Don't appoint the solicitor as executor.
