Corporate Tax Exemption for 3 years

Folks,

I have seen posts on this in other forums.
I am an IT contractor and setup a limited company this year.

There is supposedly a 3 year exemption of Corporation tax for new startups in Ireland. Does this apply to IT contracting companies also?
 
No, it doesn't apply to companies providing professional services. IT contracting / consulting would fall within this category.
