Cork hotel or B&B

Could anyone tell me of any hotel or B&B that is very close to the Mercy Hospital in Cork.

I have to have my daughter there early on Tuesday morning and have been told parking is very limited. As she will be sedated we have been advised to make sure and travel by car or taxi for when we leave. I am worried i would not get parking in the hospital (7.45am). Is there a hotel i could travel the night before to and leave the car there while at she has her procedure that would not be far to walk with her. I have never been at the hospital before, have no idea of Cork City.

The River Lee(Old Jurys Hotel) is approx 5 mins walk from Mercy hospital. I think you can park and pay there.Just check with hotel beforehand. There is a bed and breakfast place almost next to this hotel.It looks impressive from outside. (cant remember the name)

There are plenty of B&B's on Westren Road - same road as the River Lee Hotel. Also, the Maldron hotel is across the river from the Mercy - bit of alonger walk or 5mins by taxi. it's not so much the lack of parking spaces around the Mercy but the wardens are very active in this area. parking early in the morning is ok (you might be unlucky and end up a slight distance from the hospital) but be sure you renew you parking discs on time. Parking discs are €2 each, available from most shops, and I'm sure the time limit around the Mercy is 2 hrs per disc. If you google B&B Westren Road Cork it will bring up all the B&B's there.
