Cordless Twin Phones

Hi,

This may be a stupid question and is based on hope.

If you buy Twin cordless phones - do they both need to be connected to a phone line or just the base unit? Fingers crossed it is just the base unit.



Any recommendations on Twin Phones?
 
The base unit needs to be connected to a phoneline but the actual handheld phone is cordless
 
The base unit needs to be plugged into a phone line and a power socket; the second phone requires a power socket only.

I haven't tried their twin phones, but I've had a Panasonic cordless phone for years and am very happy with it. They do twin/triple/quad packs.
 
 
Have a couple of the BT phones. Excellent quality. Had philips before that. They were fine to start with but sound quality deteriorated over the life (about 4 years).

Also had binatone phone prior to that. Dreadful sound quality.

All of the phones above were cordless twin handsets.
