I have a large amount of data in an excel spreadsheet some of it has multiple entries (rows) which have been hidden. I want to copy the data into a new worksheet (but not the hidden lines) is this possible? Everything I try brings the hidden rows too.
Follow this procedure:
Highlight the cells you want to copy ( for the moment it will include the hidden cells)
Then select EDIT
Go TO
Click on SPECIAL
Select VISIBLE CELLS ONLY
Select "Copy"
on your new worksheet select EDIT, PASTE SPECIAL
select "VALUES AND NUMBER FORMATS"
