Cooling off period?

Hi guys

Just a quick question. If you apply for a credit card and sign all the applications etc...and if you change your mind after this is there a "cooling off period"?

I was under the impression that you have a 10 day cooling off period for any credit application as long as you haven't signed a waiver along with the application.
