Conveyancing Solicitor in Waterford

I was looking for information (prices really) on a conveyancy fees for a solicitor in Waterford and couldn't find any here so I rang around and got the following quotes.

These are for a 200K appartment in the city centre for a first time buyer. This isn't an exaustive list, just some of the names that I pulled from the Yellow Pages. Hopefully it will be helpfull to someone.

even though the property may be in Waterford, the solicior can be based anywhere in Ireland. You will have to call in person to sign documents and get them witnesed, but you could get a solicitor in another county, who is cheaper. It is certainly cheaper to take a day off work to drive and sign.

You are taking a big risk if you choose a solicitor or other professional to act for you on the basis of lowest price. Even the cheapest solicitor in Ireland will cost you a lot of money and heartache in the long run if they are incompetent or if they don't act in your best interests. Your best bet is to look for recommendations from family, friends and colleagues and to make your choice on that basis,within reason, regardless of prices.
