Converting Sterling Cheques

I have just received two sterling cheques, one for £50 and the other for £1900.

What is the cheapest way to get these into my Euro bank account.

I do have a sterling account with a UK bank. Would it be best to lodge to that and transfer or is there a better way.
 
I am with UB on ROI and in NI so I send sterling cheques via internal bank post to NI where they get lodged and then do online bank transfer with the no fee option and just take the rate they give.
Don't send cash in internal bank post.....
 
Probably best to lodge to your UK account and then do a transfer using an online currency broker such as Transfer Wise so you avoid lodgement fees and get a good FX rate.
