Converting GBP to Euros with Transfermate

Hi,

I am trying to convert some GBP savings to Euros. GBP are in KBC Ireland Select Access Demand Account but KBC insist that the GBP can only be transferred to an account in my name, not to an intermediary such as Transfermate. Not sure where to go from here, possibly try opening another sterling account in AIB or Ulster, then trying to transfer via Transfermate, but may come up against the same problem. Any suggestions. Thanks

You could try using one of the online banks available, the transfers should be cheaper than the main banks. Though the limits on the free accounts might not be good for you.
