Converting gas hob to electric

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much it will be to convert my gas hob over to electric.
We just moved into our new home and the builder installed the hob as gas but we have an electric hob. instead of buying a new hob we would like to convert the hob to electric and install an electric hob but we do not know how much this will cost.
Any ideas how much it will cost

do you mean that the builder left a gas feed in case you want
to install a gas hob now or in the future? Sure you can just pop
your elec hob into the opening and then buy a gas hob later when
your ready. I can't see how you could ever convert elec hobs to gas
