Converting from Oil to Gas

Anybody know how much roughly it would cost to convert a 3 bed semi - circa 1000 sq ft from oil to gas central heating

Can the existing radiators be kept or do they have to be replaced?

you can keep the existing rads. Do you have gas piped to your estate?

If so, I would imagine it would be about €3k at least. If you give Bord Gais a call they will send out someone to give you a free estimate. I got one a few yrs ago and it was €2.5k. I even have the pipe going from the junction box outside my house to the area in my utility where the gas boiler would go. Even with this work not having to be done, it was still 2.5k

HI, I am doing this at the moment. Getting rid of Oil burner in house and converting the whole system to gas. Also getting new rads and additional ones. House approx 1300 sq ft. Got a quote of €7k for the job, We are also getting some gun barrell piping replaced also. The job will be done over the next couple of weeks so I can let you know how we get on with it. Have been told it will only take 2 days.
