Conversion of mitsubish l200 to biodiesel

Friend asked me to post here so forgive any mistakes

He wants to convert his mitsubishi l200 (diesel) to biodiesel. He was just wondering if it can be done and if it can how much would it cost? Also, would there be a significant cost saving if he did it?

If possible, a full kit will be about 2k for a professional installetion. You would want to be driving 2-3 year I guess to get this back.
