Hey Guys,

I have a limited company which I am a director of and I want to make a donation to a local charity/appeal, which is non-registered. Basically the appeal has given out bank details for people to transfer money into.

Can I write a cheque from the company account to said charity/appeal?

Not really bothered about the tax relief (if its applicable), just want to know if I can do this, or will an auditor question it..

Thx !

Write a cheque..... it's just not allowed for tax purposes and will be added back in your CT comp
