Contribution Statement

I am & have always been self employed. I recently accessed by PRSI pension contribution statement. My last credited contribution in it is in 2022.

I was surprised that 2023 is not yet included as my 2023 accounts would have been finalised in November 2024’s tax return obviously. Is this normal & will my 2023 credited contributions just automatically update sometime in 2025 ?.

My 2023 self employment class S contributions are not showing on my record yet.

They will eventually be shown.

I paid Class S PRSI in November 2024 for calendar year 2023.

It’s not on my PRSI record as of two days ago either.

That's my experience too over the past few years - the previous year's contributions only appear after a few months into the new year.

Different contribution types (paid, credited) and classes appear at different times. I’ve tracked this over a number of years and it is generally sometime in the month of April before the record is up to date in respect of prior years.
