I am presently selling my house to buy another house. The purchaser for my house wants a quick completion date and hopes to move in by next Friday, which is not a problem for me or for the couple who I am buying their house.I am worried that I will not have all the paperwork done in time as contracts are only being signed thursday this week, which according to the solicitor is pushing it a little. What I would like to know is if I sign contracts with the purchaser for my house and I don't complete in time, will I still have to move next Friday, even if my house is not ready in time, I do not want to rent for the sake of a week. According to my solicitor I can not buy a house without selling mine first. any advice.
