Hi all, I have a query re contracts if anyone can help. Here goes.....

If A is a company who is offering to act as a managing agent and B are the managment company. Is it not the case that A should supply the contract document with the agreed management services/stipulations being offered to be read and approved by B and that no cost should be incurred by B?

Many thanks for any info on this.

It depends. Contracts could originate from either A or B (perhaps should originate from the one with a track record in similar contracts). Costs will depend on how much negotiation is required and who is employed to manage those negotiations - these costs can fall on either party: it depends who's making the changes to the document.
