Contents insurance who is best?

I need to get contents insurance for my belongings in my apartment.
I was quoted €191 for cover of €25,000 by Eagle Star.
However this is my first time organising this and I have no idea if this is a good rate or not.

Has anyone any recommendations please.

We're paying around €90 for contents only cover with FBD. I don't know if there are any cheaper providers out there, but I'm happy enough with what we're paying. The policy ts and cs seem fine to me, but be sure to compare on the basis of exclusions etc. as well as cost.
 
I was quoted €126 for contents insurance of €40,000 by FBD just last week.

Quinn Direct were about €151.
AXA were about €180.
Broker was nearly €200.

I went with FBD.
 
Many of the banks offer their customers part-discounted deals on Home insurance along the lines of 'the-first-three-months-are-free', but I'm not sure whether that extends to contents-only insurance. Worth a 'phone call, 'though...
